The month of October posted a reversal from the previous month for new home sales, reports the U.S. Commerce Department. According to the agency, the seasonally adjusted annual rate of 283,000 new homes sales is a decrease from the previous month of 8.1%. As well, the month posted a rate of 202,000 new homes for sale, a sales pace of approximately 8.6 months, and a median price of $194,900.
