The city of Centennial recently approved the annexation of 204 acres on Parker Road that will soon become the site of the Vermilion Creek development. To be a mixed-use development that will be a mix of residential, retail, commercial, and parks and open space, the project is intended to serve as the eastern gate to the city of Centennial. A timeframe for the development was not announced. The city also voted to approve the annexation parcels managed by the Tagawa and Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority.
